The Naked and "Not" afraid
Legendary and built to take a beating.
Features 1/4" thick steel giving this knife the weight needed to tackle big jobs. Depending on handle material and steel thickness, this knife averages 1lb 10oz to 1lb 15oz (can be reduced in weight if desired). It measures 16" overall, 10" blade length with a sturdy brush hook for cutting vines and small brush. The eye hole is set up to mill out arrows, atlatl darts or trigger sticks. An optional spindle socket on one side for friction fire. The various holes in the blade are designed to allow you to lash the knife to a spear or long stick to reach hard to get fruit or cut hard to reach items. The back and bottom of the handle are designed to flint-knapp and break open nuts. The edge is a convex grind to stay sharp through even the toughest chores. It comes standard with a flat backbone allows it to be used as a draw knife and added hand placement for small detail work. A sawback can be custom requested.
I have special built these knives and have now shipped them worldwide to take on the toughest places on the planet. After personal use on more than 260 days of hard everyday primitive survival on 8 seasons of Naked and Afraid, Naked and Afraid: XL Legends and Last One Standing, I can attest this knife truly dominates from the jungles of Thailand and the Amazon to the thorns of Africa, the unforgiving salt water of the Bahamas and the swamps of the Louisiana bayou in the Atchafalaya Basin for 60 days.
That's why I guarantee this knife to be backed by our lifetime warranty.

Tribute to The knifeThe knife is the one tool that has guided mankind through survival and evolution. Evidence of knives has been found along with the earliest of man. The importance of this tool is unmatched due to its role mainly in propelling mankind into the future. It has been used for creating tools, hunting, protection, or winning that battle that changed history and is renowned as the most important tool in the battle for survival.
Today times have changed. We are no longer cave men or Roman gladiators but the knife is still a daily necessity. Sure we don't need to make shelter or fend off wild beasts every day but there has been an innate bond to this -over 30,000 year old- companion. Currently being clipped in the pocket, on the belt, or used in combat strapped to your battle rattle, it is carried by nearly every American and its statement is evident. Carry a knife you will be proud of and, more importantly, carry one that works. |
